The opportunity

Sales is being divided between work technology can scale and work people must still do exceptionally well. AI can research accounts, enrich data, draft messages and support follow-up. At the same time, buyers expect relevance, evidence, education and a clear business case before they engage. The advantage is shifting from raw activity to judgment: choosing the right account, understanding its context, earning attention and moving a conversation forward with purpose.

Genetrix sells more than one kind of value: Salesforce consulting, white-label delivery for partners and SaaS products for marketing teams. This internship gives you exposure to the complete commercial path, from market and account research through outreach, discovery, demonstrations, proposals and disciplined follow-through across global markets.

Why this internship matters. This is not a list-spamming role. You will learn why preparation, relevance, good questions and disciplined follow-through outperform noise, and how trust becomes pipeline.

About Genetrix

Genetrix Technology is a boutique Salesforce consulting firm and ISV partner headquartered in Pune, India, with a US entity in Dover, Delaware. We specialize in Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce, supporting clients and Salesforce partners across the US, UK and APAC through direct and white-label delivery.

We combine consulting depth with product innovation. Our portfolio includes JourneyVoice, Campaign Clarity, Marketing Cloud Translator (MCT) and LinkLect. Our founder, Aman Batra, was recognized as a Salesforce Marketing Champion in 2021.

What you will own

  • Market and account research. Identify relevant industries, companies, partners and stakeholders; develop a reasoned view of where Genetrix can create value.
  • Qualification. Use clear criteria to distinguish a promising account or conversation from activity that is unlikely to progress.
  • Thoughtful outreach. Help create personalized email, LinkedIn and other outreach that reflects the recipient’s context rather than relying on generic volume.
  • CRM and pipeline discipline. Keep account, contact, activity and next-step information accurate so the team can act with context and measure what is working.
  • Conversation preparation. Research participants, prepare discovery questions, capture notes and help the team follow through after calls, demos and meetings.
  • Partner and campaign support. Contribute to partner development, outbound campaigns, event follow-up and coordinated activity with marketing and delivery teams.
  • Experimentation and learning. Test messages, sequences and segments carefully; review signals with the team and turn the result into a better next attempt.

What success looks like

  • You earn attention through relevance. Your outreach shows that you understand who you are contacting and why a conversation could be useful.
  • You protect the quality of the pipeline. CRM data is accurate, next steps are explicit and no promising conversation is lost through weak follow-through.
  • You ask better questions. You become more capable of understanding a prospect’s priorities, constraints and decision process instead of rushing to a pitch.
  • You build commercial judgment. By the end of the internship, you can explain how research, qualification, messaging, discovery and value creation connect.

What we value

  • Clarity: Strong sales communication respects the other person’s time. You speak and write with a clear reason, a useful point and an explicit next step.
  • Curiosity: You want to understand how a company works, what a buyer is trying to improve and why a problem matters before proposing a solution.
  • Sincerity: You do not create false urgency or promise what the team cannot deliver. You are candid, dependable and careful with the trust behind every conversation.
  • Learning and business thinking: You want to understand value, incentives, buying decisions and the economics behind an opportunity, not just memorize a script.

What you bring

  • Clear communication. You can write a concise message, listen carefully, take useful notes and express a point with confidence and respect.
  • Research curiosity. You enjoy learning about companies, industries, roles and business problems, then connecting what you found to a relevant hypothesis.
  • Consistency and resilience. You can follow a process, complete the unglamorous details and respond constructively when an outreach attempt does not work.
  • Organization and ownership. You keep records accurate, manage follow-ups, ask for context and take responsibility for the next action.
  • A learning mindset. Prior sales experience is not required; coachability, preparation and a genuine interest in business conversations are.

You may be a student, recent graduate or early-career candidate. We care more about your preparation, communication, consistency and willingness to learn than about a particular degree or prior title.

Helpful, but not automatic gatekeepers

  • Sales and research tools. Exposure to a CRM, LinkedIn, spreadsheets, prospecting databases or AI-assisted research and productivity tools.
  • Commercial exposure. Campus sales, sponsorships, customer-facing work, entrepreneurship, competitions or a self-initiated business-development project.
  • B2B technology interest. Curiosity about Salesforce, AI, SaaS, consulting, partnerships or how enterprise services are evaluated and purchased.
